Calvin’s passion for magic began at 12, leading him to win 14 first-place awards in strolling and close-up magic competitions. Alongside his career in engineering management, he continues to perform, mentor, and create magic content on social media. While I perform across a wide range of styles, mentalism is the discipline that most naturally aligns with my background and character. Before stepping onstage, I built my career in Silicon Valley as an engineer and later advanced into senior management. My progression was driven not by technical skill alone, but by my ability to read people, listen deeply, influence outcomes, and bring teams together around a shared goal. Mentalism draws directly from those same strengths. It is rooted in observation, psychology, communication, and human connection. Rather than relying on spectacle alone, it creates moments of insight, trust, and engagement, the same qualities that define effective leadership in high-performing organizations.
